algorithmic sound sculpture
The sound characteristics of each module are determined by the volume of water in the glass tube, as well as the amount and speed of passage of air masses. By placing a measured amount of liquid in a vessel, the author determines the pitch of the sound in an empty space. The finest sound textures are built inside the flask due to the vertical movement of air bubbles. High-sensitivity microphones mounted on servos, shifting according to the specified algorithm, occupy their position above the epicenter of the sound.
